Send us q's for the Mystery Files Debrief here!
-
Ryan: "You'll have to decide if the mystery is SOLVED, or if it's simply..." The lawyer just out of frame: clears throat Ryan: "...A mystery."
-
the fact this crime ended with a guy becoming clean and a man reuniting with his family is so wholesome and unexpected
-
I love this story. No serious injury or death, funny outfits, lazy rivers, heists, and most of all, a homeless man being rewarded for doing the right thing.
-
I laughed so much when Carter entered all dressed up, and Shane was like "That's Carter, thats your cousin Carter" hahahahahahaha
-
Ryan and Shane sound like they've already robbed a bank and they are trying to convince everyone that Steven did it.
-
the real villain of this story is the lack of affordable public transit in America (so he can see his kids)
-
It kills me how they never mentioned how much crazy effort he put into the crime. Like this dude went out and physically dug out the creek to make it deeper so the inner tube could go through it! The exact opposite of lazy. Hate the rich boy mentality he had but I respect the grind
-
I love how Puppet History is Shane forcing Ryan to deal with his strange (but awesome) obsession and now Mystery Files is about Ryan forcing Shane to deal with his strange (but awesome) obsession.
-
DB Tuber and DB Cooper would be an incredibly comedy duo call em DB squared
-
it’s fun to see them both try desperately not to accidentally say “unsolved”
-
the whole bit of ryan not letting anybody say "unsolved" is hysterical and i love it
-
23:44 foreshadowing of Steven deciding to move watcher off of YouTube.
-
Ryan: “You don’t encourage someone to rob a bank😒” Shane: “Rob a bank😡”
-
ending the episode with the case stamped SOLVED is so unbelievably cathartic after 8 seasons of unsolved cases
-
"We're talking about a guy who makes shows about the concept of money. This guy is sick and twisted." And Other Statements That Did Not Age Well.
-
Honestly, I’m so glad Ryan and Shane are still popular. Unlike so many old buzz feed series and stuff. They deserve all the love and attention.
-
Shane encouraging people to rob a bank within the first 18 seconds of the Mystery Files premiere is SO incredibly on brand. I am PUMPED.
-
Its so adorable that Ryan can't fathom the idea of Emily not knowing about the crime because to him, lying to your wife and not including her is not an option ♡
-
"If you didn't know Carter, you wouldn't know that that's Carter" Ryan Bergara your way with words is magical
