That is not a switch where you change from single phase to 3 phase. The switch on the panel you turned was to check your line to line and line to neutral voltage when its running. You change which voltage the gen head is making underneath the panel and one when the machine is off and there will be warning labels alerting the operator of this.

I have the same exact generator runs fine but I have to hold the reset button in because it says low fuel light I pulled the float it is not stuck any idea what the problem is will not stay running unless I hold the reset button in thank you
