10 fraternities sever ties with USC after crackdown on parties

A number of fraternities associated with the University of Southern California have opted to sever ties due to a strict set of rules imposed by the university in the wake of a series of sexual assault accusations made last year that stem from fraternity parties. Nicole Comstock reports.

I thought the point of going to a university was to get an education. These kids think a proper education involves partying, underage drinking, hihazing potential members and assaulting females without getting caught or being held accountable.

The only thing my university had was a D1 Soccer team and Chess team. No fraternity houses.

Good. People go to college for an education not to party and while socializing is a necessary part of that education, fraternities are not needed to accomplish it. Good riddance.
