This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams
Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
This week is open great league and the Hisui Cup. The Hisui Cup is a 1500cp league with pokemon from the Pokemon Legends: Arceus Pokedex.
In this video I go over the top teams for spring cup.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with lantern, venusaur, and tropius. I think these cups are a good way to develop team building skills, since the type chart isn’t as advanced. For example, the team above is a pretty solid ABB team, which is a team type I have had a hard time building in open GL. I’m not in the lower ranks either, I’m level 18 and have been winning probably 4/5 of my games (normally around a .650 player)
-
considering running a Galarian Weezing Dewgong and Lanturn team. Looking at what Pvpoke says the matchups are relatively close with Dewgong, I dont see anything else that could really cover my weakness? Unless I'm missing something
-
I’m surprised more people aren’t saying Whiscash, I know everyone is tired of it but Tenta, Weezing, Empoleon, and Lanturn will be everywhere and it crushes all of those
-
What do you think about Lanturn Lead, just stay in vs waters Weezing to pull out most of the Meta Watertypes, Mawile with Ironhead instead of Play Rough to sweep
-
Dewgong feels REALLY strong here. Coverage for just about everything
-
Jelly, roserade (weather ball and leaf storm) and venu. 22/25 today with it. I love roserade in these limited meta cups. Everyone forgets how hard a leaf storm hits from a glass cannon. Either switch it shield advantage every time
-
I ran roserade, tents, and whiscash and did pretty ok
-
I'd rather play spring cup all the way to figure out the meta early, also i don't have XL candy for the ultra league staples.... although I'm close on the ultra league platinum metal so i should at some point :(
-
As of now, PvPoke doesn't show Empoleon in the Meta Scorecard section of the Team Builder, so it might be a sneaky corebreaker against trainers who used the Team Builder and didn't catch that it's missing Empoleon
-
Fairy Wind Slurpuff as a potential closer, to deal with water (Energy Ball) and grass (Flamethrower)
-
I have Abomasnow lead, Tentacruel switch, and Whiscash closer and I'm winning 3-5 battles each set. I think i average out to 3.5 wins per set, which is good enough to make serious progress climbing.
-
I am gonna try Lurantis (with x-s), Lanturn and Empoleon. Don’t have access to many of the top 20 mons😢
-
Looks like this may be a two weeks break already for me. I hope I am wrong but it looks horrible honestly
-
What surprised me the most is only a little side note. But when it comes to the rocket bosses I never fought for tentacle bc I thought "tentacruel shadow is lower ranked then the normal one, and it always will be since it's defense stat is the highest". And now there is a meta where shadow tentacruel is higher ranked then the normal. Somehow I find this really interesting.

You guys think s. Mawile would be a good sleeper pick?
-
Time for slurpuff again lol
-
Didn't know mantine was banned literally just played two sets with it lol
-
why brutal swing
-
Mantine is able to be used
-
aren’t venusaur and roserade the ultimate pick, coz grass beats water and poison beats grass and fairy???
