UH College of Medicine: The Need

2018-10-23に共有
The College of Medicine joins the University of Houston as its 15th academic college, scheduled to admit 30 students in the inaugural class. These doctors will champion primary care and fulfill the most pressing health care needs. The college’s partnership with HCA Houston Healthcare will provide residencies in Texas so our graduates can continue to work in the state’s “medical deserts” – urban and rural communities where lack of health care takes a heavy toll.

recent UH grad here. Excited to see all of the progress UH continues to make!
  • UH alum. Houston does not need UH or a UH med school. Houston has the greatest medical center in the world. This is purely a profit grab, not one of care and compassion. Most of the Natural Science majors plan on going into medicine so UH is just trying to take more of their money by over charging them for overfilled classes with professors who do not have enough time.
