  • I love Bill Nye's perfect mix of "this is a genuine teachable moment" and "oh god these idiots are asking more dumb questions" in his delivery
  • @ScratPlays
Bill Nye always looks equally frustrated and fascinated by everything and everyone and it fills me with joy

I still remember the greatest roast I’ve ever heard. It happened around the topic of Bill Nye in my high school science class. My science teacher was this a very fun guy who always tried to make it somewhat fun. My teacher was asked why he didn’t show Bill Nye and he replied “it’s because he’s a comedian who thinks he’s a scientist.” And without hesitation one student replied, “and you’re a scientist who thinks he’s a comedian.”

Bill Nye: let me explain why your question is idiotic and pathetic Also Bill Nye: Wonderful, great question
  • @khalilahd.
Bill Nye came to my elementary school when I was a kid and it’s still one of the highlights of my life. He did a dry ice experiment and it’s what made me fall in love with science and major in bio in college. ❤️🙏🏽

I love how Bill answered the "why should we listen to you?" question. Understanding and evaluating scientific discoveries starts with a good education. What we can see we know, what we can only discuss is meant to be discussed with the intention of sorting through what we know. This is why politics should never determine what sciences we learn in school.
  • I love how the ignorance of adults just sets this dude off so far after he taught kids for years

You can never get enough of this guy. His way of presenting facts along with comedic timing is wonderful.
  • Bill Nye continues to be an absolute treasure. Also the bit about what does space expand into--every now and then I wonder the same thing and it's a few minutes that I get very very very quiet and afraid and I have to sit down and watch a cat video so I don't fly into an existential panic. Fun times!
  • @PunKinPi
Hearing Bill Nye swear, even if it's bleeped, gives me joy.
  • @Marksman3434
“Stop attributing anything in your life to astrology. It is utter bunk” THANK YOU
  • @kayleighd6836
How to get Bill Nye to say "milf" 5 times... well done.
  • I think a better answer for the third question is: no one. There is no person who is an authority for science. Science is governed by a simple thing: evidence. Without evidence nothing can be conclusively/ independently proofed.
  • I love how brutally honest he is, and is even kinda dark when talking about our existence. It's the wake-up call we all needed since we watched him in school....

Bring backs memories of watching Bill Nye the Science Guy on television. I see Bill , I click.
  • @GrippeeTV
“Note well that it’s very reasonably that you, and maybe even I, will be alive when life is discovered on another world. And when that happens, it will change this world.” That was super deep to me for some reason
  • @dylanstuart2432
    I can’t believe I was watching Bill when I was 8. Now I’m 28 still watching him. That’s gnarly
