  • With the dual motor you had a much lower avg speed. Nothing confusing about that.

Just found a reference to the range indicator settings. Dynamic to Certified Range can be changed in Settings -> System -> Units
  • Can you have the possibility to test the LFP version? A comparison could be interesting!
  • So cool! This is "exactly" the EX30 I'll be getting in 2 weeks. Same colour, same trim, same drive train, same wheels, same everything. Only difference is mine is MY25. Cool to see!! Merci! Actually I think yours must be MY25 as well, because that trim combination doesn't exist for MY24 (as far as I know)
  • The range in my EX30 is based on my past consumption, but several people have commented on Facebook that you can change it between the WLTP and real range. I haven't found that setting, but clearly the cars you are testing is set to revert to WLTP

Also wanted to ask, I assume you used one pedal drive for all these tests?
  • I hoped for more than 284km. But the 0.28 drag coefficient is among the worst of modern EVs, so it’s not surprising that highway range isn’t great. Tesla Model Y and Skoda Enyaq have drag coefficient of 0.23 and ID.3 is 0.26 (same for forthcoming Skoda’s small EV crossover). Volvo needs to step up with aero. 0.28 was great for ICE cars a few years ago, but today it’s losing to all other new EVs.
  • Maybe Tesla is not as much premium electricity as Ionity and has less energy per kWh 😂

Why are you complaining about having to steer yourself? Would you seriously trust a car doing 130kmh to steer for you?
  • @leifandersen2756
Buy a gas car and you will be out of this problem with range .
