I think they’re done tbh, I would’ve loved a big pitching move to be made, but if the asking prices were too high, then I respect stearns decision. I’m rocking with the squad either way.

You are by far one of the best who cover the Mets and I rarely disagree with you lol. Saying Acuna isn’t doing well in AAA isn’t a fair assessment at all because of his age. If the Mets trade him it would be one of the worst moves they can make for so many reasons. When a team moves a player through their system that quickly, it’s great but also risky. I hope they keep him, allow him to grow both physically and mentally ✊🏾

Ppl go on about a starter but I'd prefer getting tanner guy from fla. I think they can muddle their way thru a few games with Peterson and a lil luck.that one guy in the pen will win them 5 or so games. Could be just enough. Just my opinion

Feels like the plan is for Winker and Marte to eventually platoon, with Taylor coming in for defense. Plus an Iglesius, Mcneil platoon. Plus now virtually everyone sans Londor can be given a spell for a day without a major dropoff.

We should of got a strong starter who could of been like am Ace but usually like a 2nd or 3rd starter, a lock down set plus up man and a strong speedy right handed bat!

Butto will back up Megill on Friday. Early or late, Butto will throw ~60 pitches and probably start the next time through, if Megill struggles. If Megill pitches very well, then Butto will stay in the 'pen...for now.

Any real postseason contender needs an ace pitcher, maybe even two, Mets need to hire an ace starting pitcher, that will make them a serious opponent to respect.
