The ship owners insurance should pay back the money that they got from the American Taxpayers

Happy Easter to all the salvage crews in Baltimore. Be safe in your efforts. Thank you for your support and dedication.❤

The sequence of cutting the beams safely may be very tricky.
RIP to those lost -
that crane looks small from the air

If one just looks at how small those cranes appear, next to the collapsed bridge structure. This is a massive task.

I'm from Europe and come often to the States. Every time again I'm shocked about the state of your infrastructure. This bridge with a 70s design, without modern updates like protection is not a thing on it's own. All over the country it's rusty bridges, roads full of potholes, badly patched roads with more bad patches over them, uneven side walks, overgrown sidewalks, fading road markings, wonky and missing signs, broken lights, etc. The States is decades behind on maintenance and updating it's infrastructure to modern standards will probably cost a few trillion dollar, if just rebuilding one bridge is going to cost 1B. And then we're not even talking about the design of the road infrastructure, like junctions or highways, even that is still done like in the 70s.

Praying for everyone and those families lost their love ones! ❤💪🏻🫡

I think payment for removing and rebuilding the bridge should be paid for by the ship owners after all the bridge did not run into the ship
-
This highlights a concern that many of us in US infrastructure services have of imported materials that are critical to the infrastructure of America. Water infrastructure fittings, pipe, sewer infrastructure fittings, pipe, and cast iron manholes, heavy equipment parts, bridge infrastructure parts etc. etc.We need to bring the manufacture of these things back to the USA so we are not vulnerable to interruptions.

I live in Brunswick, GA and this happened here. When they built the new bridge there was a massive rock buffer between any ships and the bridge structure. Really good fishing.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge is a key bridge in the I-95 corridor, especially for hazardous materials.

It's about time the audio started. CBS - I don't click on a news video to read it - I click on to watch and listen. Thank you.

A fleet of Ferry boats could make a crap load of money over the next ear or so at minimum.

The sign language Interpreter is more interesting than the Governor
-
From the air the crain looks puny!😢😢
-
Where were all these concerned officials in the past many years when this obvious threat to the bridge went begging?
-
.. and how many times can you repeat "24 hours" in one news conference ..
-
Great job of collecting and editing these clips together!
-
Honestly it shouldnt take all that long to remove the rubble and open the channel back up. but to get another bridge will be a few years easily

You know that you have been watching too many Baltimore bridge videos when you start getting fed barge strikes on the Arkansas River in Oklahoma.
