Hello, Paul I think you may need to make a spade attachment for the back of your wrecker that presses down on the ground so your front won't lift as much when pulling heavy loads.

It's nice to see how attentive your son is, he has his mind on things and sees even the little things. He has learned a lot from his father and tries to support him fully. Great boy.

Silly question, have you guys ever considered those inflatable bags first responders use to lift vehicles? I'm wondering if something like that would work in a situation like this? Maybe they would be something to add to your arsenal? Nice recovery. Pucker factor of 10+
  • @rerolley
They may want to change the name on the trailer from "Light" to "Heavy".

May I ask you a question and get a reply. I own a 1997 454 Big Block Chevrolet Winnebago Class A Motorhome , And when I took it for it's Inspection I was ask if I knew there was a Big Fine for driving a Vehicle on public roads with a Cracked Windshield. You see them everywhere. But I had to take my vehicle and order a windshield they said was no longer in production, I ask a C. H. P. about it and he verified that a broken / cracked windshields are considered one of the most dangerous items on any vehicle and it can bring a large fine if stopped. how do all and I mean nearly all of you supposedly Responder's get away with it? I notice all the time Cracked Windshields on many of you peoples vehicles.

Heck of a recovery 👌 Maybe some drop down legs on the rear of the wrecker would help when only using the boom/ winches to lift. With legs seated firmly on the ground you could get full use of the hydraulics & winches, without giving up that much to the suspension. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️. Great video, keep em coming !

Watching Paul use grandpa Sherman’s truck as he intended, living out and fulfilling his dads dream It’s nice and meaningful not just production This is a special family
  • Paul needs an IQ test. There were some genius level moves in this process! Great strategy…. I’m a broken down old guy so compliments rarely come out of my mouth but this was COOL!

"I got a set of headsets, all charged up, left them sitting on the bench." (What we're thinking.) "That's a great idea, that way they won't get lost!" Also, make sure you thank Matt with a couple of cases of Dew to show your appreciation for his giving you the sliding down the hillside recovery!

These guys do recoveries, build stuff, fix stuff, and help others, what more could we possibly ask for?, awesome job guys, and thanks for sharing.

If I ever get in trouble, I want Paul Cox to show up. He rolls up, hasn’t the faintest idea what to do but makes it up on the fly, doesn’t get ruffled, calm demeanor, instills confidence, gets the job done with quiet humor, and downplays his success with an aw shucks manner. Yeah, I want him to show up.

Rory would be proud of the "necessary" front dig. That guy was very fortunate that he didn't lose the whole shebang over the edge.
  • @ckamina768
Gotta give credit where credit is due!! Those two “helping hands” were putting in work!! They didn’t hesitate in the least to get in there and do what needed to happen!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
  • @bradwolicki2669
Matt may have a little bigger tow truck, but the sound coming out of the tail pipes of your rig is top notch!👍🏻Keep up the awesome content
  • @MujoNovak
Hilarious how big badass pickups are actualy usseles in situations.
