Grocery shopping in a pandemic

We couldn't find any order online-pick up at store slots available in the next two weeks so we left the safety of our home, and went to the grocery store.

I later discovered the cats were only as quiet as they were while I was filming this because they figured out a way to open our bedroom door and were playing under the bed.

I haven't been sanitizing my groceries any more than usual. I read a couple articles about it before we went and the experts they interviewed generally agreed that it wasn't something you needed to do unless you're high risk (though they recommended not eating directly out of containers like chip bags, so we've been moving things to separate bowls, washing out hands, then continuing as normal). We're in Alberta, so we've been closed down for a bit longer here, I think. Today when Jeremy went to the grocery store closest to us, they had stepped up sanitation. An employee sprayed his hands with sanitizer and the door and they had instituted a "you touch it, you buy it" policy as well, which made us feel better about the stuff we brought home.
