This is United Artists Theatres' 1997 future-themed policy trailer. I give all credit to JoeCool85 of DailyMotion.com for having this video.

I thought it was gonna be a roller coaster like Regal cinemas

Best Damn Policy Trailer ever IMO. It gives me chills watching it and the music is awesome too. Even though we don't have UA Theaters in our part of the country, I still would have liked to see this on the big screen.

I mean I physically have this policy trailer on one of two house reels that hold a collection of my favorite previews and policy trailers.

I've only been to a United Artists theater once in the 90s while on vacation, and the only thing I recall is an opening policy trailer involving the cast of "FOX NFL Sunday". The gist of which was their studio was being transformed into a UA theater.

This is the original UA policy that was playing when I got hired...better than any of the rest...especially the REG ones we have now

This reminds me of The Fifth Element as well as Judge Dredd and Demolition Man.

I Remember Going To The Movies Back In the 90's because I've always watched this bumper before the original movie starts up because I've always catch the Early Matinee since the price were then cheaper during that time .

@gamecubechamp12 Yes I have the film that ran in the projector in a box in my basement It's called the "Magic Hat"

Its the format of the films. think of it as like wide and standard. I worked for a Carmike for few years and had many days spent building films.

Ah yeah...this was the policy trailer that played when I got hired in 1998

Well working in a movie helps. :) Once I learned how to splice and build film prints I figured that I could get a house reel and put my favorite previews on it. Scope first then flat last.
