Bro who else is watching this completely baked at 2 in the morning 💀

The fact you were honest about needing to use your emergency supplies just earned my sub and I’m sure I’m not the only one ! Wicked content mate and thanks for keeping it 💯mate

The most valuable thing to take from this video is his attitude. Even after three days of being rained on and sleeping on grass and having things go wrong, he maintains a positive attitude and laughs and jokes around. Love it
  • As an Irishman who has lived all of my almost 69 years here in Ireland ( but I have travelled a lot in the Northern Hemisphere Countries also) I have been camping, hiking, hillwalking, cycling, motorcycling, fishing, hunting etc since the 1960's, and anybody who can light a fire outdoors in Ireland without a Litre of gasoline and a box of matches/Zippo has my unreserved admiration. Coinnigh suas an dea obair (Keep up the good work)

Man, your survival vids are the only ones that feel as real as it gets. No superhero stuff, plain skill and luck sometimes. Really enjoing your work, very informative. Could just watch for hours, not even to mention that you have inspired me to start doing the bushcraft myself. I do not film it, but just for myself. Way to go man! Take care and keep going that extra mile
  • Very cool video. I'm an Army Ranger Veteran. As a grunt, there was no fire in the field. It might give away your position. Many times, I have been so soaking wet with no fire. I have done pushups or air squats for hours in the dark of night to stay warm. It was a hard time, but good to know what the human body can endure in extremes and oh boy, did it make me appreciate good times.

You are much more realistic in your videos than 99% of the other content providers. Thank you for showing what it's actually like. Most people post videos about how they "survived" When in reality they bought a bunch of shit from Amazon and bought their groceries from their local supermarket, then posted their "hard times" in a friends backyard. Respect!

I love how you defend you choice to use the fire steel. As if I can judge you while at home wrapped around a warm blanket. Well done sir. Awesome video.
  • @SurvivalLilly
This is one of your best videos. Congrats on getting an ember in this wet kind of environment.

These are by far the most life-like survival episodes I've seen. Our northern European terrain, although it may appear and act wild from time to time, has been stripped of natural resources over centuries of rural living, leaving us with a landscape often bear of possibilities for anyone wanting to practice their skills. Julius is so skilled and knowledgeable that scratching out a very meagre existence is almost possible. Well done on how realistic and well-presented your videos are. I really look forward to more (as well as the roundhouse episodes).
  • Really enjoyed this short vid! Makes me feel like a kid again. Miss the days I spent in the bush on my own. Normally went for 3 to 7 days at a time. Tried to do it every 3 months and then in December I'd stay for 2 to 3 weeks. I live in South Africa and think it's something that we enjoy doing. Especially us Afrikaans speaking folks. I lived in the mountains for about 5 years. Just me and my dog while I managed a private game reserve and let me tell you..... That was where some of my best memories were made. Keep living this way and you won't grow old. Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa.

I admire your mindset. You stay positive all the time and that helps a lot in that situiation. I remember doing the pretty same thing in the military (SERE) and there was complaining all the time and that really got everyone that didint finish.
  • How lucky are we to be able to see something like this on a whim whenever we want
  • Outstanding video! Congratulations! As much as I enjoyed the 6 days, I particularly treasured seeing the footage of you and your mate breaking down camp and leaving no trace; such to me is being authentic in means of what you show, what you do and what you stand up to. Well done!
  • @spjr99
I can sense the SurvivorMan influence. I love it. Nature holds nearly all the answers to our problems, physical and mental. We are so far removed from life as survival that we fail to recognize how lucky we are. Love to see this
  • @mbrisbourne
What a wonderful spirit this guy is. Real genuine awesome guy. It's amazing he didn't complain for 6 days, but did what he could and got on with it. You never saw the guy lose hope are get miserable, but in some happy content and happy to be close to nature. Amazing attitude and really amazing he did a full 6 days out there. Awesome guy.
  • I appreciate you showing and talking about the difficulties of the bow drill fire. All the things that can go wrong. Most people show all their successes without the hours of failure to get there.
  • @wietse1848
Big respect on gettin that first fire going with the bow drill!!!!!
