Join my niece Christine and I on a 3 night/4 day backpacking trip in Washington's Olympic National Park. We hike the Seven Lakes Basin Loop starting in the rain forest then climbing above tree line to join up with the High Divide trail. We encounter wildlife, wild flowers, waterfalls, gorgeous views of the Olympics, alpine lakes and more. This trip was a truly stunning visual feast.

Just watched this hike and saw you mention and film Morgenroth Lake. I went to grade school with a Tim Morgenroth in Seattle in the 60's. The lake was named after his grandfather way back in the 1920's when he was mapping the area for the park service. So cool to see it in your video.

Glad I found this video, as we have a panoramic view of the Olympics from our back yard. You went places we were not able to go, other than taking a flight over a few years back. Very impressive & beautiful. Love the scenery & wildlife of course. ♥
