Join me along with Joey Coconato (MyOwnFrontier on YouTube) and Jarl Aanestad (Norwegian Xplorer on YouTube) as we backpack for 4 nights/5 days through Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness. We begin at the Mineral Creek Trailhead and join up with the Pacific Crest Trail for 30 miles of our total of approx. 44 mile trip. We encounter amazing beauty along the way.

Safety tip from an old Cascades climber. When making a swift water crossing unfasten your waist and chest straps. If you do take the plunge your pack has a better chance of floating up not pulling you under. You can also get out of it fast if you have to.
  • Btw we love the still shots at the end, great way to finish the videos, excellent photography.
  • @TrekkerPat

Wow, what a beautiful trail, spectacular scenery, those mountain tops were breathtaking! And you had great company with Jarl and Joey. If you can get some Avon Skin So Soft original spray, for some reason mosquitos hate it and will not come near you. My sister travels a lot and swears by it. Stay safe Cat, great video!
