  • These guys are super intelligent. They can speak English fluently, but chose not to. That is how you represent your country.

As a bilingual speaker in English and Chinese, the translater made a 100% accurate translation. My questions are : How the hell did she remember every single thing Wang Yi said and how the hell did she translate every thing so well?

Me: looking at the chat to see what ppl thought about the response Chat: translator needs a raise
  • @Tomy-im8zl
I wonder if that journalist would ask the same question about the territorial ambition of the USA in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lybia Syria, Venezuela and Haiti...

OMG I understand Chinese and was not expecting the translator to translate the entire thing...she did a splendid job!
  • @adamkee97
The translator has soften the tone by like 10 times. Listening to the Chinese version and the translated version gives a completely different feeling... The anger can only be felt in the original speech...
  • @godfrieza9924
Nobody talks about the question asked and is deviated by the translator’s capabilities. 😂
  • Wang Yi was so pissed off that I thought soon he'll break into English and leaving the translator thoroughly confused.
  • See the face of that Canadian guy when she was asking question 😂😂
  • I love the automatic translation, according to it he speaks about our lady of Fatima, Portugal!! He is a true devote
  • @williamchoi6561
Why is everyone talking about the translator and not the question itself?

As a Chinese-English Interpreter myself, I stood up applauding the interpreter at the end of the video. She did a fantastic job! Such a lengthy statement would have had the interpreted rendition compromised without clarifying/verifying/ repetition. She deserves what she earns!
