BRUTAL HIKE! | Mount Colden via Avalanche Pass Trail | Adirondacks, New York

We travelled to the Adirondacks in New York State staying at the Wilderness Campground. We hiked the Mount Colden via Avalanche Pass Trail. The trail is a 20.6km trail with 933m of elevation gain and took us about 10 hours to complete. It was one of the hardest hikes we have done but the payoff at the summit is worth all the effort. The trail also has you hike the super fun avalanche pass that has you hike beside avalanche lake where you will be climbing up and down ladders and walking over raised walkways over the water.
