Mole skin tip...... We used mole skin during volleyball when we would get terrible blisters. So IF you already have a blister cut a hole into the center of your piece and put your mole skin on with the blister in the cut out hole. This way the sticky mole skin won't tear off the blister OR if the blister already popped and is raw the adhesive won't hurt it. The thickness of the surrounding moleskin should protect that injury. If it isn't thick enough put 2 layers of moleskin on to increase the thickness. Hope this helps!

The waist band would work for concerts or ballgames when purses aren't allowed.

I have a tip if you’re going on a cruise ship that has a laundry room and that’s to bring laundry detergent sheets. The Dollar Tree actually carries them for just $1.25. They also carry travel size liquid detergent but the sheets are much easier to pack and really don’t take up any room at all.
  • Another use for water shoes is in the shower. If you have balance issues or if the shower gets rather slippy, they can give you so much better footing. This goes for hotels, cruises, even fitness facilities....
  • I use the door lock every time I travel solo. It just gives me piece of mind. I actually travel with two, in case I get a connecting room in a hotel.

My mother was way ahead. In 1983 I went abroad and my late mother sewed a pocket into my back brace. I was robbed but my passport ticket money etc was safe.

I always look forward to your videos for must have cruise items. Unfortunately, my husband doesn’t understand why I get so many Amazon packages after I watch one😂.

You should try Wellow compression socks. They're made of bamboo and keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Plus they're antimicrobial. Much better than any other compression socks I have had. I'll never buy another brand!

Could you recommend dresses with sleeves, the older you get you want the coverage.
  • @MrRanger59
One good item to bring is a sun guard long sleeve hoodie in case you forget to bring sunscreen. They hardly take up any room, dry quickly and help to protect against UV rays.

20 years ago my husband and I walked across England. He, silly man, decided to wear new boots, as opposed to getting his broken boots resoled. We were walking an average of 18 miles a day, and by the end of day 3 his feet looked like minced meat. He put moleskin, pretty well everywhere, and we were able to finish the walk. Most incredible 2 weeks of my life. We walked 200+ mikes, climbed 10000+ feet and took zillions of pics. 14 days in England with only 4 hours of rain. We came back with suntans, never heard of in the UK. Really enjoy following you. 👍🏻

Llana, thank you for all that you do! I, along with many others, appreciate all the tips you bring to your channel! 😉

My husband is retired US Army and they had 12 mile marches all the time. He always put mole skin on his ankles and under his toes before so he didn't get blisters. So when I buy a new pair of shoes I always use it until I get them broken in.

Shampoo and Conditioner Bar has been my go to when I travel. Not only because they’re convenient they also work well just like the regular liquid version. It’s so compact and last long as long as you dry them after used. I highly recommend this. I actually gave my friend a set during our travel and she was amazed how it made her hair soft and manageable.
  • @docsmctink
Llana…you do not have to take the entire shampoo bars on your trips. You cut a section off and it’s even less to pack! I use Lush brand all the time. I found lightweight plastic containers on Amazon that are inexpensive to carry parts of these in …I’ll try to find the link!

When cutting the moleskin remember to round the corners to help to keep the edges from lifting or rolling. DO NOT PUT MOLESKIN ON TOP OF AN EXISTING BLISTER. Sorry for the emphasis here but it is super important so you don't tear off the "roof" of the existing blister. Cut the moleskin out in a donut type shape to accommodate the area of loose or separated skin where the bubble or pocket of the blister is. I know this sounds gross to some people but it is the difference between successful treatment and extended misery.
  • Moleskin! Old school for blister prevention! Love it when I camp/hike, travel walking days, etc. Great Stuff!
  • @Idkdk
Moleskin was my lifesaver in my Disney World trip when I was walking 12 hours a day
