It's not sushruta it was CARAKA(Medicine Doctor)in kaniska's time. Sushruta was the Father of plastic surgery in indian history Bishamitra's son Maharishi sushruta was born in Varanasi
  • @saliafzal
The best part of this podcast is every time the guy states a fact, he adds “I might be mistaken”. This one sentence shows the difference between a learned and an ignorant man.
  • @sumeetsingh4992
Non Muslim Indians feel more attached to historical sites like Taxila and ancient culture . One example of this is that they still name their kids in the same language as their ancestors and identify more with them.
  • @Indisword
Peshawar was called purushpura and was capital of ganghara. Ruled by Hindu shahi king jaypal before Ghori invasions.
  • 1:16:29 university of taxila could not be establish during Achaemenid dynasty because panini's time is during 600 bc and panini himself wrote that before him there was also a long tradition of teachers at taxila, even many kings during mahajanapada time were students of taxila 1:20:03

In India we still teach at school that “Taxilla, Nalanda ka itihaas laut ke aayega” which means Indian universities shall once day reach the glory of universities like Taxilla and Nalanda where all students from Asia will come to learn.
  • @Prashant-li8uw
1:39:07 He is basically batting for no we are not Indian argument 😂 bro is super patriotic pakistani..
  • @kafayataheer7436

  • @khansakhan1042
Amazing discussion, the guy is not one of those pseudo intellectuals who are allergic to islamic connection. It was captivating MashaAllah
  • @anupnayak7945
Story of Ghazni was "created" by British.. How conveniently he says kings of same religion also used to loot each other's wealth.. And why was Mahmud ghaznavi called Butshikan then.. what does that word mean?
  • @ibrahimm2012
As an Indian I think my ancestors have been in this land for thousands of years . They may have different religion but I am Muslim now . But that’s still don’t disconnect me from my land . Unless Pakistani who starts their story from 1947 .
  • @youtubeinnk
Thank you Junaid for bringing knowledgeable guests like Huzaifa . Pata hi nhi chala 3 ghanto ka , appreciation from India .
  • @kirito-ud1qd
Today he is cutting down the history to his region of India to give Pakistanis an identity, a few years he will have to cut ✂️ history to punjab only because nothing else will be left of them.😊 ❤ from the holy birth land of the great emperor Bharata.
  • @user-we8ij9ks1p
Huzaifa is just like a encyclopedia of history . He is a gem.
  • @manish_semwal_26
The fable he is talking about is Panchatantra written by Vishnu Sharma. The book by shuruta is called shusruta samhita.. detailed anatomy of human body and plastic surgery. Takshshila (Taxila now) and Nalanda were the top educational institutions of the sub continent.. it is said that when the books in Nalanda were burned, the fire kept on going for weeks... More than 10 millions books were burned. To learn more about the golden age of Islam ( which Westerners term as dark ages cuz according to them nothing happened in the entire world before renessaince) kindly refer to lectures by Dr Roy casagranda.

Fantastic podcast! An exploration of ancient civilizations and mysteries, focusing on Pakistan's legacy, is a winning combination. I hope there will be more episodes to explore other interesting aspects of our past.
