Photo and video recap from our road trip on the weekend of April 22-23, 2023 to Carrizo Plain National Monument (central California) and Antelope Valley CA Poppy Reserve (northern tip of Southern Cali). This would be considered a superbloom which doesn't happen every year. But we had a major rainstorm over the winter. So thanks to the extra water, the wildflowers were poppin' off in full force this spring. It was so intense and massive that they took photos from above earth, and you could see this giant terrain of yellow in those photos!!!
