You don't even know how refreshing it is to someone like me that grew up with this music, to see a young persons reaction. I think many younger folks are starting to discover the talent and magic of the previous generation. To see you actually appreciate it is so special.

A song about that very real shame in life: nice guy who fell in love in with some woman from the past, but she never felt a thing. And he will not win her over. But he kind of con’s himself into believing it’s real anyway, Sad and real.

Great song. One of my favorites as a little kid. Michael McDonald has one of the most iconic voices ever. Nobody sounds like him. I still have no idea how he does it LOL “It sounds so smooth!” Well, it is ‘yacht rock’… 😁
