Officials said the Park fire is now the biggest wildfire in the country and the sixth-largest in California's history. The fire is just one of dozens burning through parts of California and the Northwest. One man who lost his home in the deadly Camp fire in 2018 has just seen his new home burn down. NBC News' Steve Patterson reports.

  • Dear Jesus we pray for a miracle! Stop this fire Lord! Have Mercy!!!
  • My support and appreciation to the US Forrest Service firefighters for their hard work. ❤
  • @Deb0033
Report the name of more than one town location, for Heaven sakes. Ca & COLO. are very big states.

Mismanagement of the forest land and bad environmental policies.
  • @Moondoggy1941
Shocking this continue neglect of the forest, thinning of trees and any kind of forest management. And it does not cause a greater chance of fire.
  • The poor Animals who died from this I can't even think about it God🙏❤ RIP
  • Maybe they shouldn't rebuild houses in dangerous area like this.
  • @dougboyer5829
What do we do when there is no where to go and nothing to do ?
  • A call for more forestery funding and officials, firemen/women, IMMEDIATELY. Train people for FREE !!!!!!
  • It’s not the climate. It’s because the forests haven’t been maintained how they should be
  • Wait, they said climate fires. False. They already arrested the dude for setting his vehicle on fire and pushing it into the woods. Where this fire started.
  • Quit issuing permits to build in these areas. All o these areas were ranch land and open space and they are now filled with residential with no fire suppression units or emergency access roads. The trend started to happen with real estate speculation in the State and unregulated Global real estate investment. Common sense . Don't build in these areas. They can't even set backfires or controlled burns now because houses are built in areas where they shouldn't be.

Prohibit home being built on the border of Forrests or in forests
