I think they realize that making regions all the time are probably more work. So I hope they continue making exciting and interesting side games like legends, re-exploring older regions with new stories. And keep the gym leader format for mainline games. Let the main lines come out once per console generation to make the most out of the technology

I doubt Hoopa will get a Mega considering it already has a pretty powerful alternate form, but if they make it available in the game, but also during the main story like Manaphy in Legends Arceus, I would OVER THE MOON since it's one of my favorite Pokemon ever.

imagine Hoopa second form was different bottle instead of the prison bottle his true form is something like the dream bottle, and the prison bottle could have been made to change Hoopa entirely.
