“FromSoft I love you, but did we really need more ulcerated tree spirits in the DLC” oh no. 😭😭
-
Now we can totally see a legit playthrough of "Can you beat Elden Ring as a Perfumer"
-
The "light greatsword" is basically a IRL long sword and I am so excited to finally see a fast, lengthy sword in Elden Ring. 🤩🤩
-
one quality of elden ring that i feel isn't talked about nearly enough is just how well it sets a scene to be viewed from almost any angle in its open world; practically anytime i watch anyone play it almost any frame of gameplay looks photographic and beautiful.
-
Throwing axes and knives with zero FP costs? man I can finally make a proper Castlevania-themed build
-
You actually missed one of the new weapon types, you can see it just over the edge of a cliff in the starting area
-
old bosses coming back means the dream of fourskin quartet is no dead.
-
"More Elden Ring" is pretty much exactly what I wanted so that's good to hear.
-
WE ARE SO BACK
-
Holy shit we get ACTUAL proper long swords. :O
-
"A huge ballista"
- DS3 Smouldering Lake PTSD -
"A repeating crossbow"
Aw hell yeah we get to see Gael's crossbow again -
A throwing spear sounds like the perfect weapon for a spartan style build.
-
Its nice to see From finally giving in and adding non consumable versions of things like throwing knives and perfumes. These are cool parts of the previous from games, but always get relegated to "rarely used utility".
-
The weapons and armor are by far the most exciting aspect of this DLC for me from the looks of it. Perfume bottle offhand with literally anything else in the other sounds absolutely magical
-
It's very funny to me that you compared the greathammer throw animation to mario64, when the Bowser throw animation is itself inspired by the Olympic sport of... Hammer throwing
-
I finished Elden Ring almost a year after so i got spoiled on a lot of things. Still had a blast. Cant wait to disocover new things with you all together
-
Dude whaaaat, historically accurate longswords? That's sick as hell. Super excited to try all this shit out. No wonder this took 2 years to come out, this looks awesome.
-
Messmer's introduction should begin with Miquella saying "Greater Will, a second red flame has struck the Erdtree."
-
the trowing and perfume bottles are PERFECT to me, not only for obviously those that want to mix a bit more ranged into their playstyle without committing to bows but having a free ranged attack and pseudo-magical attack really is great for magic builds who want a weapon that still feels like magic but doesent make you ration out your fp, glintstone pebble cna be replaced with a magic enhance dagger, or just slap people with your bottled lighting
-
I love that smooth, spinny sword combo from the first minute of the video, that looks super good.
