    What about the story behind the spilling of the milk? Mom works all day. Laundry is piled up. I told my child 5 times to move the milk away from the edge of the table? This is where the world went wrong. Where is the reality?

    That is a weak postulate that the child is "unconscious." Of course, it isn't true. What if the question had been, "My child was not paying attention?" That most likely is true. But, is it fair to hold the child responsible for an action with high probability of happening?
