I still listen to "She's like the wind", I love that song

My husband was diagnosed and given 6 months the longest. 8 years later he died from pancreatic cancer. He was being treated at Dana Farber in Boston Ma and they had specialists come in from other parts of the world because he was still alive. He was the sweetest man and helped everyone. We were lucky to have his funeral a week before covid hit and over 300 people came to his funeral. 3 years have past and it is like it happened just last week. When we had his funeral on a Sat and on Monday everything closed down. I went home to an empty house after the funeral and spent the next 2 years alone only talking to people on the phone. I feel it made me stronger and not relying on others.

22 months is amazing for that disease. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 and passed away in 6 weeks. I miss her every single day. Thank you for carrying on and raising awareness.❤

One of my favorite actors. It seems like the good ones are always taken too soon. They get what life is all about. They are helpful and kind.. so they fulfill their mission faster than the rest of us.. and then they move on. RIP Patrick. You are definitely missed. ❤

You can feel the love and respect between them.

I never cry when a celebrity dies, but when Patrick Swayze died, I'll admit I teared up. He was the best in the 80s and 90s and all of us that were kids during that time have fond memories of Swayze and all the wonderful movies he has been in. I'm glad that Lisa found a new love. She is a beautiful person in and out and I wish her all the happiness in the world.

It took just a pinch. So glad you found one another. I lost my partner if 22 years to pancreatic cancer. She was 50. I donate every year to Lustgarten. Rest in peace Patrick and Mary.🙏🌹🌹

Patrick Swayze was the most talented guy, a true super hero. His passing made me cry. He began the awareness of pancreatic cancer.

Patrick was my crush for so many years. His smile, his sweetness won me over. I still miss seeing him on the screen. What an amazing man. ❤

When I was in hospital after my bypass a people magazine article came out about Patrick being in hospital. They asked him what he missed most about being out of hospital and he said “seeing his animals”. Then they asked what he looked forward most about getting out and he said “ seeing my animals”. I felt the same

I’ll never forget that Patrick acted in an entire series while fighting this horrible disease. He and Lisa had a great love story. She looks wonderful. I’m glad she’s ok.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Swayze in Kentucky, at an Arabian horse event. He was so charming, walking around, I remember he was wearing his cowboy boots. He was so dapper, and at the same time boyish....and so polite. They had aired the tv series....North and South, and he was telling us about a film he had finished, but he did not care for the title - DIRTY DANCING. Such a sweet guy. Good memory!!!
-
Patrick was so handsome and talented! Miss him lots.

I loved what Lisa said "love comes from the same well". How eloquent and beautiful is that.

My 48 year old cousin was in the hospital with COVID last December. While there, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that had already spread to his liver. Less than 2 weeks later, he was gone. Prior to his hospital stay, the only symptom he had was a stomachache at Thanksgiving which he, of course, chalked up to overeating. It was only while in hospital when his abdomen began to fill with fluid that he was diagnosed and went downhill quickly. My poor aunt and uncle were still trying to wrap their heads around losing their older son unexpectedly in an accident, they then learned their second son was terminally ill. Such horrific disease. Its great to see Lisa continuing to raise awareness.

❤BEAUTIFUL GENTLEMAN!!!❤ R.I.P. PATRICK 🕊🌹❤ THANK YOU LISA AND TODAY SHOW 🥰🎼⚘🌹❤🌷💃⚘🙏🦋

In the 80's I used to be told all the time that I resembled Patrick. I never really saw it BUT even strangers would stop me and tell me that often...I followed him because of that compliment and was crushed when he died. I am now turning the age that Patrick was when he passed in May. 57 years old. Lisa, I am so glad that you found love again and continue to honor your late husband. He is missed!
