Watching Patrick Swayze dancing with his wife Lisa Niemi was beautifully choreographed and a delight to watch. He died far too young and he is sadly missed

It's an understatement to call him a talent. He had so many things we all look for in a human being. Compassion, charisma, grace, and an ability to devote himself to something. It showed in every aspect of his work. He will always be remembered.

His wife was his partner in every aspect, an equal in dance, and a counterbalance in life. Amazing performance by both. Total respect to Lisa, and condolences. Praying I see Patrick in heaven.

His autobiography...Time of My Life, co-written by him and his wife Lisa Niemi, is a GREAT read. Written after his cancer diagnosis. Tells of his life from start to finish. His mother was professional dancer and instructor. Patrick was dancing almost as soon as he was walking, and Lisa was one of her students. He was a driven perfectionist and dance was his first love.

It was so hard to believe that this wonderful man is no longer with us. Patrick was so beyond brilliantly gifted talented and a loving caring man. I miss him exceedingly

It's so hard to believe Patrick has been gone since 2009. Both talented individuals in their own right.

That was absolute perfection. I had no clue that his wife was also a top level dancer. They were perfectly in sync the entire time. Never skipped a beat. They blow these dancing with the stars characters clean out the water!! And Patrick, such a classy guy. May he rest in paradise

Watching Patrick Swayze again brings tears to my eyes. He was always dreamy, from his early years onward. And his wife Lisa of many years was his soul mate. What an amazing lovely couple they were and hold a special place in my heart ❤️.

One quality I see in Patrick Swayze’s dance is his ability to give his partner his best without outshining and upstaging them with his own power and talent… yet still his flawless power and talent is sensed and fully enjoyed. His performances were humble, measured and wise, and yet all the while fully spectacular.

I met him before he was famous! Patrick worked at the Galerina Shopping Mall, here in Houston. He worked at the ice skating rink. He told me he was going to work as an actor. And working here at the ice rink was keeping his muscles in shape. He had already extensive lessons in dancing at that time. I think he had done some small commercials by then. He was very kind, polite, and easy to talk to. We probably talked about 10 minutes, but when I walked away, I thought to myself I will see this man in the movies some day!

What a gifted man. I have crushed on him since I was three. Such a sad day when he passed. Dirty dancing will forever be a classic! “Nobody puts Baby in the corner!”

He was an elegant and effortless dancer. His movements are clear and well executed in great balance. What a joy to watch! He is sorely missed...

Can just feel the love and chemistry Patrick and Lisa shared ! That doesn't happen often. Thank goodness this dance is preserved for others to watch.
