Love seeing Messina, great vid! In April 1986 I was on board the Aircraft Carrier Coral Sea when our entire battle group of 5 ships went together through the Straights of Messina, unannounced, at 26 knots to go bomb Libya. It was mid-day and very busy. We entered from the west and because of the first starboard and second port turns we had to add extra lashings to the aircraft because of the sharp list while turning. I got to watch the procession while sitting on the bow of the flight deck, it was a beautiful day... very cool watching people wave, or maybe giving the finger... dunno. We caused a bit of a panic and the Italian authorities were apparently unhappy. Was hysterical.

Love seeing Nina back. Judy has a great outgoing personality and is awesome on camera. Another great video Steve. Thanks Loon crew!

Dylan is the kind of guy that gets promoted to leadership.

No better feeling than crossing in these conditions and being gently rocked to sleep and recharging before another big trip!
-
❤thanks for the episode!

Used to love going through the straits at night on the bridge of cruise ships. If Stromboli was playing ball we'd get an amazing fireworks display!

When i saw Courtney relaxing near Captain Paul @22:44 I had this 'Mom and Dad are driving the boat'-kinda feeling :D. Mom and Dad are relaxed so everything is going smoothly!
