🥒ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Sonny, I want to say thank you for how you have impacted my life. You see, I've been very sick for the last 5 years. I'll be in and out of the hospital literally every month with a minimum stay of at least 9 days and sometimes up to three weeks. If it wasn't for your amazing enthusiasm, great content and overall happiness you share for me to enjoy I would have gone crazy by now. Thank you for all that you do and keep on keeping on.

After binging on countless videos from various channels around YouTube, Sonny's vids have to be some of the best I've ever seen. Consistent. in-depth, entertaining, respectful, daring, and endlessly interesting. The team does a fantastic job of covering each story, the editing is fantastic, and Sonny himself is always a joy to behold on the screen. Keep up the great work and content!

I just watched the Yatai Culture post and so far I have to say this is my favorite episode. Everything is hitting full throttle, The editing, Sonny's obvious respect for the culture, and the chemistry between Sonny and Shizuka, the rapport he's only had with a couple other people in the show, makes me smile.
