2024-05-03に共有
Today on O'ahu, students, faculty, and staff are set to gather at UH Manoa, joining protests for Palestine. Student organizers have demands for the university, including transparency to all UH assets such as investments, donations, and grants. Additionally, they advocate boycotting all Israeli academic and cultural institutions and ending study abroad programs in Israel. Things get started at one in the afternoon at the Wise Lawn.

Please don’t bring those mainland chaos in Hawaii
  • That stuff is halfway around the world. How about helping Lahaina and the homeless here instead?
  • Never thought Hawaii University kids would stoop to be this disgraceful!

Not in Hawaii. Come on Hawaiians, do something.
  • I note the list is for five comments, yet only three are showing and they are all against the protest. I am proud of these students and faculty who are brave enough to speak in support of the civilians being killed, in spite of the threats they will encounter. These students are the future leaders of the USA. Kudos to them.
