its really cool that he openly says that the expensive one is not as good as you think and why.

The 450$ sandwich looks like it has a bunch of incredible ingredients, but combined together, it creates a mix of things that just don't sound appetizing together
  • Tbh, I think the caviar is what pushed the 450$ sandwich over the edge. Before that the foam and scrambled eggs would act as sauces for a chicken fried pork sandwich, which sounds amazing
  • The caviar seemed to be an afterthought IMO. While every other ingredient is just an elevated ingredient common in a breakfast sandwich, I've never heard of fish roe being common on a breakfast sandwich.

I like how he shows the steps and exact ingredients for the 450$ sanwich like we would do it
  • @Haferkoko
I think it's safe to say that most people don't like caviar, but the classic one looks like it would sell out immediately!

I love when you do these over the top expensive versions, I like learning about high end, expensive ingredients. Never knew about Iberico pork until now

Joshua flew too close to the sun with this one and created his very own Eggs Woodhouse. Personal preference is the simple one. The fancy one, as delicious as it may be, is entirely too fancy for my palate.

Even though the $$$$ sandwich was a disappointment, the culinary knowledge gained was priceless. Regular Joe's, like me, salute you brother.

1:27 undisclosed tip: note how he props them up so steam isn’t trapped and soggs out the bottom side. Very important in anything you want to pressure crispiness on

This soft scramble completely elevated my breakfast game. Your techniques for even simple foods are seriously invaluable, thanks Joshua!
  • Totally agree! It is about the right texture and right flavor 😀
  • Please keep doing the cheap vs expensive videos that are amazing

Papa!!!! Can we please get a summertime classic video, something that would be great on these extremely hot days and cool you down. Watched almost all of your videos and tried out at least 10+ recipes and never been disappointed! I literally watch the new videos in bed before I go to sleep they’re entertaining and fun! Much love Papa

Josh should make a new segment called “But way too expensive”, I’d watch
  • Yeah, the expensive one is just too rich. Heart attack in sandwich form. Some fresh avocado or greens or something to offset the fried fats I think would be a good thing.

I appreciate your honesty here last few of your videos I've thought exactly what you said here sometimes simple is just better

Ive been doing a bfast sando every morning for a couple months now. Thiiccc spam slab, folded omelette, swiss cheese, mayo and sriracha on a kaiser roll. I wrap it in foil and take it with me to work. The steam gets in and homogenizes the temperature, the cheese congeals and it’s heaven. Goes down great with a 711 xl coffee.
