In episode 8 of season 1 of Fantasy High (from 2018), the Bad Kids took an unintended interest in a vulture watching them from afar. And in episode 8 of season 3 of Fantasy High, everything has come full circle.

This is our Endgame (if Endgame were about a random vulture)
  • @Minifigure17
The silent expression of pure devastation on Lou's face is ... priceless
  • The fact they made a custom background for the dome EXACTLY FOR THIS SCENARIO proves the Heroes' obsession with the vulture.
  • @MarioGMan25
Brennan fuckin knew what the Vulture's activation phrase would be as soon as the season started.

Lou actually looks so upset at the end. No mirth. No joy. Shock and fear and exasperation.
  • @Saxdude26
"Totally normal vulture... that has nothing to do with what's going on" Brennan warned them.
  • @Envy_Dragon
I can't get over how fantastic it is that in that last scene, Brennan did the ol' tired DM "are you SURE you want to waste your entire turn talking to a bird, instead of helping your party, every single member of whom is in incredible danger? are you SURE you want to throw away a full minute when every second counts?" And meanwhile he had an elaborate visual effect and a whole-ass model prepared for when Ally inevitably chose to interact with the vulture anyway

People think kids these days only care about iphones and hot chip but truly the children yearn for the vulture dimension
  • @misscurls101
It's amazing how much of this season is Brennan's Revenge against the Intrepid Heroes. Like, Vulture Dimension, his self-insert Anti-Fig NPC, forcing Fig to work with Porter.... It's like every possible chicken coming home to roost and it's AMAZING 😂
  • @faroshscale
"it seems sinister insofar as all vultures seem sinister" is so funny to me
  • I like how Ally's the one being punished, even though, as this video points out, it was originally Zac's fault...

What I love about this compilation is that it gives an entirely new dimension (no pun intended) too Lou's dead-eyed reaction to the reveal at the end. He nat 20'd into a half pipe to interact with the first vulture! He defended Ally to the death for them investigating that vulture pro-bono! He wasn't sick of the shenanigans, he wanted to BE the shenanigans! Ally just got there first as Kristen! My man got vulture scooped.

Lou being shell shocked at the vulture dimension reveal is peak D20. He's so tired, and the defeated look in his eyes makes the situation even more ridiculous.
  • @UpperLeftRC
The amount of excitement I experienced when I saw the feathers flying across the dome walls was frankly unhealthy. I have since apologized to my neighbors the screaming….
  • @edamommy
Time for Kristen to become a Nature Cleric
  • @extragarb
I absolutely love how threatening it is to shout "You are entering the Vulture Dimension". A deeply intimidating declaration
  • @arillusine
I know we’re all talking about Lou’s absolute devastation at the reveal but I’d love to turn your attention to Zac totally losing it when Brennan brings out the new set piece 😂
  • @MathrocksTavern
There was real fear in Beardsley’s eyes when the vulture king responded. It was incredible
  • @neminem233
My favorite part is how there’s a whole animation and setpiece, like Brennan had 100% faith in the Bad Kids that’s someone would interact with the vulture
