How to make a breakfast pizza
Try this recipe for a delicious breakfast pizza.
This is a great make ahead breakfast. All you have to do is assemble the night before, cover with plastic wrap or foil, and the next morning preheat your oven and bake. Easy and delicious!
What better sauce for a breakfast pizza than gravy?
This recipe make one 12" pizza.
Toppings:
Bacon 4 slices fried and chopped.
Ground Sausage 1/4 cup fried (OPTIONAL)
Mozzarella cheese 1/2 -1 cup
Eggs 3 with 1 tbs milk whisk together. Salt to taste. Scrambled.
The perfect sauce for breakfast pizza!
GRAVY:
Bacon grease 2 tbs
Flour 2 1/2 tbs
Salt 1/4 tsp
Cheddar cheese or your preference 1/4 cup
Crust:
Pillsbury pizza crust mix or any mix you have on hand.
Oil 1 tbs
Preheat oven to 400 F
Prepare and bake crust for 4 minutes.
Add gravy and other toppings and bake for additional 5-6 minutes.
Other topping suggestions: Bell pepper, banana pepper, onions, mushrooms, hot sauce.
