Everyone is praising Jamie, and his dedication deserves to be celebrated, but let's also not forget the insane amount of work from the costuming department that was needed to make the performance possible!

Not to forget that Vecna's creepy voice is all Jamie's voice. Incredible!

I think Jamie might be one of my favorite actors from this season even tho he's Vecna. Absolutely brilliant performance.

What a voice, he was born to play a villain. :-)

Casting Jamie was the puzzle piece that really sent the season into the stratosphere. What a presence.

I really couldn't imagine a better casting for Henry/Vecna. Vecna totally scares me, but at the same time I find this character somehow fascinating and cool. The fact that 001 is Vecna was really a brilliant plot twist.

it's kinda hilarious how gentle and kind Jamie is considering he's playing one of the most violent, aggressive characters in the whole show. and aside from that he's such a talent. i dont think anyone else could capture Vecna/Henry/01 like Jamie.

I hope he gets an Emmy nomination next year. He really did put his all into this. Everyone else was great too but he got into character in so many different ways and was just phenomenal. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves now. Been a fan since twilight but come on, he deserves the same amount of fame like every other cast member.

"Jamie's dead it's just vecna." I know that's scary and creepy but how he said it made me laugh. Lol

Jamie is absolutely incredible. The costume designers and makeup department did an insane job with his Vecna costume and makeup.

He was great in this season. I think he would make a really good joker as well.

Jamie is so dedicated to wearing all those uncomfortable prosetheics and make up. The cast and crew stated that he didn't complain at all!

Honestly I thought Henry and vecna were played by two different actors because vecna sounded so different. Jamie has incredible range!

Jamie's acting is outstanding. He should've received an award for his acting in this. His facial expression, his voice, everything is just all so perfect and excellent!

The cool thing about Vecna is that until now, the characters have mainly been facing detached, larger-than-life threats -- surreal entities that only appear in visions, and mindless monsters that only attack indiscriminately. But Vecna is a threat that feels so much more personal, as not only does he directly contact his victims almost to the point of real-world physical encounters, he gets in their head by forcing them to relive their worst moments rather than trying to create new ones. That sense of familiarity is what separates him from the other antagonists of the series, as fighting some*one* that possesses their own memories and motivations makes him all the more human; and going against one of your own is a different level of disturbing, especially when you consider that he actually is human.

The dedication of Jamie is no doubt. But the dedication of these prosthetics designer? AMAZING.

I don’t think there could be anyone better than Jamie to be Vecna … his amazing!

Jaimie was so great as henry/vecna he did a wonderful job of portraying the creepiness of the character. The way he uses his voice the slow deep way he speaks and the way he looks at his victims definitely gave me chills. Stranger Things always does a great job with casting.
