Ya should put a new door with modern mirrors (Saftey upgrade) Bigger Turbsky (saftey upgrade) Wheels & Tires (saftey upgrade) Suspension work (saftey upgrade) ECU Tune (saftey upgrade) Orange seat belts (Helps sell all the other "saftey" upgrades as legit "saftey" upgrades...) Everything can be explained to and accepted by Mere if properly laid out... Not to mention that with it being a Company Work Truck it would be a nice tax break. Those types of vidgeos seem to be super popular judging by views... Will bring in new subs and work with companies you've maybe never worked with.. It will help with keeping the feller who helped out at your Garage/Shop busy too. I just dont see a down side to doing a mini-build series on those "Saftey and Reliability upgrades.. Back ta work!

I would definitely get it over to the Holden Bros and have them really go through it, see what needs fixing and replacing. Then take it to Muscle Rod to get the dings taken out and rust inhibitor put on. Then give it a Bunker Branding wrap and phone number. That way when your employees are driving through town, you're advertising your business.

New/re-arced springs and helper bags (air bags) in the rear should help a lot, maybe upgrade the intercooler, oil cooler and transcooler if you are going to be doing a lot of towing.

I’m sure it’s already been said but that appears to be completely stock under the hood. The stock 5 speed trans is the Getrag 360 which they are notoriously not very good. The NV4500 is the 5 speed manual trans that comes in 2nd gens and the NV5600 is the 6 speed that came as an option In late 2nd gens and was in the early 3rd gens.

Matt - it would certainly do you good to replace the springs. Especially if you intend on hauling somewhat regularly.

If it’s the stock 5 speed, it’s called a g360 getrag. The springs on the back are pretty flat arched and the front springs are actually negative arched from factory. Still wouldn’t hurt to freshen them up though! Great truck!

Yes, I would replace the springs. They look like they can't take much more.

From experience, those mirrors will take bricks out of a wall. Think of them as body protection! Also helps prevent rollovers!
