I'm Scott Michaels - thanks for watching. I own Dearly Departed Tours in Hollywood and the original Celebrity Death webpage, www.Findadeath.com/ . I've been doing this for 25 years - my collection of one-of-a-kind death related artifacts includes the legendary Jayne Mansfield Death Car.

Jayne Mansfield is buried in a little cemetery across the street from my house here in Pennsylvania and most people who visit loved ones there don't even know it. I was walking my dog a few years ago and I noticed her daughter Mariska Haggerity there paying her respect to her mom. I didn't bother her by asking for an autograph.

I visited Lucy's "cheap" grave in California and was impressed by her humble decision and financial prioritizing regarding her final disposition. Her public work more than stands tall for itself and she did not need an expensive memorial or monument to make her seem any bigger than she already was in life. We love her no matter where or how she is buried because her burial is not the most important part of her life. For those who want to spend a fortune on their graves, that is fine and their option too.

It doesn’t really matter where she is buried. As long as there is a screen, she will always be alive.
  • Rod Steiger was my next-door neighbor in Malibu. We had some times, drinking wine and talking about the world. He was a smart guy, and good to his friends.

I think Debbie Reynolds was so heartbroken losing her daughter she was so close to that she passed of a broken heart. I'm so glad they're together now.

SCOTT- I really appreciate how you are putting the picture of the departed by the names, a lot of us wouldn't know who they were but now can recognize them from old movies!!

I've got Cancer and some other serious health issues, it gave me a strange feeling seeing this video knowing my turn is coming. I'm so thankful for my Christian faith and the peace that I have about death...still, it was a little strange for me. Thanks for the video. BE SAFE,GOD BLESS!🇺🇸🙏❤

Lucille Ball is now buried in Jamestown, NY, a neighboring city to her hometown of Celeron, NY. There's a Lucy-Desi Museum here, tons of posters and painted pictures of her. Her face is all over Jamestown <3! She was such a funny lady!!

Why bother with an expensive grave? It's only the grave company that benefits. The person isn't there, just a shell. The best memorial is other people's hearts and minds. I've always said that I don't care what happens to me when I go, I won't be there to notice. Just be sure I'm dead!

Lucille Ball was initially buried there but 3 years after her death her children had her moved. She's buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown, NY.

No matter how famous, no matter how rich, we are all finally reduced to the same. It reminds me of an epitaph: As you are I once was, as you see me, you, one day, will also be.

Sheesh, my dad was a simple man and just wanted to rest in peace. We had him cremated for a few hundred bucks and I found a golf ball urn that I know he'd get a kick out of. Next summer I'll be taking some of his ashes on a hike with me to spread in the forest, after that it's on to some places we used to camp together, they're spectacles of beauty and will never be destroyed by man. But I know he's with me no matter what, every time I think of him laughing and his smile or watch a movie we both liked, he comes back for a few minutes.

Love that it's just your voice and not a lot of stupid music. It feels like I am there. Thanks.

Seeing the graves of all these beloved celebrities that I grew up watching and enjoyed so much makes me very sad.

I like how you put the photos with each grave , because my memory is terrible. I can't remember names , but if you put a face with it ... then I can remember . Thanks for sharing this video !!

As the years go on and on and Hollywood puts out less and less actors and actresses with any talent, these cemeteries in Hollywood will become less and less visited. Miss Lucy did the right thing of being brought back to her home town where she will be more appreciated and remembered.
