I'm a big walker but what's your go to way to get around town when you want to see a lot!?

I was in Japan myself last month just before and during golden week. Fun watching you publish this now that I am back in the states. I walked Tokyo a lot. I love getting lost in big cities on foot only to find my way home on a random train or bus (whatever I find once I hit exhaustion) after a full day of city hiking.

I love how the curving hills are completely full of thick greenery, right next to the inviting buildings which beckon to be explored!! Nature and beautiful architecture side by side. And yummy food! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

There is a Japanese cultural center, tea house & gardens in Saginaw Michigan, have not visited it yet. I have walked through the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco at Golden Gate Park twice, I would recommend having decent walking shoes for San Fran. I will probably check out the Little Tokyo when I visit the LA attractions in the future.

Thanks for sharing Kyoto with us. Those temples are finely built. They feel so peaceful walking through. And the donuts.... yummy 🍩. I would go for sushi 🍱 too, there must be a thousand of little places where to eat 🇯🇵.

Last year I went to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, and it was even more impressive！！

You missed Ginkakuji I guess, that was my favorite. I recommend the town of Nikko for onsen, food, and temples, but it might be too far away for you.
