We just need a song with Elizabeth and Will performing together, it'd be amazing. Have her operatic style and Will's harsh, or even have some clean vocals from Will. It'd be truly epic and such a contrast of styles.

I love how Elizabeth, an accomplished operatic singer, is slowly becoming one of the foremost experts on "metal" vocalisations and techniques. I love it so much my smile hurts.

I used to not care for harsh vocals, loved the guitars and drums and everything else about metal, but not the screams and growls. Since watching this channel and learning about all the techniques they go into harsh singing, I've found a new appreciation for this style of vocals. Thanks Elizabeth for helping to open my understanding of these amazing singers.

What you may not realize, is how much appreciation is felt among people who are into metal to have a completely unbiased and honest approach to reviewing a song like this. We know it's very out of the realm of normality for most people to listen to stuff like this but we're just like anyone else. The fact that you've spoken with Will, gained an appreciation for his craft and what it takes to perform in the way metal vocalists and musicians do, is such an endearing quality that makes your channel and personality stand out that much more. I can safely say, we really appreciate an unbiased point of view and the fact that just because someone is performing a pig squeal over a fast riff and blastbeat doesn't make them any weirder than the next person. A lot of us love classical music too :)

Also, we should take a moment to appreciate Andy Serkis for his performance of Gollum including giving the character his voice, so that we are able to reference to it when describing harsh vocals.

It's a funny transition going from hearing pig squeeling, demonic growling to hearing Elizabeth's soft, gentle, calm voice lol

The disturbing imagery during the breakdown sections are a perfect visual representation of Will’s voice.

As a metalhead with a background in classical, who started with bands like Deicide and Morbid Angel I have gotten such a kick out of watching this incredibly talented and accomplished musician so enthusiastically become a metalhead. Thank you for sharing your journey with us Elizabeth!

The amazing thing is Will also has a wonderful singing voice too, listen to some of the covers he does. I swear Will is either Orpheus reincarnated or made a musical pact with him. He references many figures from Greek mythology in his lyrics, such as Chronos and Icarus "Poets such as Simonides of Ceos said that Orpheus's music and singing could charm the birds, fish and wild beasts, coax the trees and rocks into dance, and divert the course of rivers. Orpheus was one of the handful of Greek heroes  to visit the Underworld and return; his music and song even had power over Hades." Just my theory and I'm sticking with it.

As a metalhead, and deathcore lover in particular it's awesome to see you really starting to see more behind metal than just "noise". Metal is truly underappreciated and seeing your smile thanks to deathcore makes me smile!

That guitar solo is gorgeous! He hold enough notes long enough to make it emotional. I used to dislike metal solos cause they often gave me a feeling of; yes, it’s very impressive that you can play so fast and I wish you didn’t, not for more then 2 minutes at least. But Adam managed to make that solo ridiculously fast AND emotional somehow. It’s great.

Gotta love the metaphorical peanut butter and jelly that is an accomplished Opera Singer listening to beautiful Melodic Deathcore 😍🤩🥰
