I loved the joy on the girls' faces on their journey. Candide is a perfect name . Well done.
  • Lovely boat, thoughtful husband and father, beautiful and supportive wife and mother. May your travels be full of blessings. So excited to watch your adventures unfold.
  • "Travel optimistically"---an excellent motto, znd good choice of name. Fair winds!
  • This is one amazing couple! The girls were so young when I first started to watch their adventure. Their talents, individual and combined, displayed throughout the renovation, informed and growing along the way, is example-setting. How they manage all of it with two small children while living in a new country-environment; accessing and managing help(ers) of all variety to assist them and building a warm and enduring friendship with Benoit -- all while also maintaining a sincere 'family life'. Their journey is an uplift at every turn.

When I was 16, in mid-summer, I crewed on a 68-foot ketch along the coast and through the islands of Norway and Sweden. Best trip ever. Fell madly in love with both countries, but Sweden's islands are especially charming. Freezing cold water, midnight sun, and fantastic food. Safe travels. Will be watching your wonderful vlogs! 🇫🇷 🇸🇪 ⛵️
  • Of course they are not selling the castle. Just a littel goodbye break to go to Sweden and sailing the new boat (I guess😊)

A man is always happiest when tinkering with his boat. Look at the Joy on Phillips face. Now, that's a happy man.

Anna will have to block print your logo on the Sail. Or create a Crest
  • On the Tall Ships we used Oxalic acid to keep the decks nice.
  • Lovely boat! Consider recycling those old sails - they make fabulous and indestructible travel bags that can fit under airline seats; personalize them with your Chateau logo. Happy sailing!
  • About Voltaire and "cultivating your garden", Voltaire meant your " inner you" which should constantly be educated by learning to know yourself, to adapt your activity and knowledge for making you a better person

Bienvenus en Suède. You are actually in "my" marina where our family have hade our boat for decades. Our children is raised here and especailly in the restaurant. When they were young there were a very good Austrian chef at the restaurant.

What a beautiful life you all are living and allowing your two precious girls to experience! Perfect!
  • @friendlhi
the face of Anna when Philipp explains the end of Voltaire's novel Candide " at the end of his travels he comes to the conclusion "- her face looks so interested about the philosophical conclusion after a life of learning - then jaw drops when he finishes " to cultivate your garden" - haha - not quite what you expect from a novel that names your yacht🚤ahoy
  • Philip! I’m so happy for your fulfilling your dreams, the purchase of your perfect boat and setting sail with your family! Beautiful ❤❤❤
