What use to be taken for granted was such a nice experience in retrospect. Streaming leaves a disconnect that is hard to explain if you didnt experience this.

When I was a kid we couldn't afford new games so occasionally I would be allowed to by an ex-rental game for the Mega Drive, I remember digging through those bins trying to find a game with the coolest cover art

I'm 34 going on 35 today. And I remember going to Blockbuster with my friends in the 90's mostly for video games and anime, but occasionally we rented a new movie.

Kids now a days will not experience the newest release being completely rented out.

Takes me back I can’t even describe the excitement of going to a store and seeing your favorite band had a new cd out we had no internet it was a total surprise and a memory I will always treasure

I hate seeing all the brick and mortars go away. It's so sad going to my local mall and seeing it just be a ghost town. I have so many memories as a child going to a mall in the early 90's and the place was absolutely jam packed...

Going to Blockbuster in the evening with friends/family to pick up a movie and snacks was a great experience. I thought millennials were all about experiences. Bring Blockbuster back ,especially now streaming services are becoming separated and diluted due to every company wanting thier own sub service. Can't subscribe to everyone...

I fondly remember my mom renting us wcw/nwo revenge around Christmas time from the blockbuster in our area. Good times.

I remember this. Even into the mid-00s, it was a thing my family and I did. I played some of the classics this way, it was just such a different time.
