GETTING A NEW PET!!!

Total solar eclipses happen, on average, every 18 months. But for a given spot on the planet, total eclipses of the sun are only seen every 400 years or so, since the portion of Earth from which each total eclipse is visible is so small.

The next total solar eclips in the US is in 2044... however, even that one will only be visable to those in the extreme northern portion of the US, actually only in 2 states, Montana and North Dakota. Then, the next one that can be seen in the US (and actually from Northern California stretching all the way across to Florida) is on Aug 12th 2045. A lot of us (likely me too) probably wont be alive anymore which is why this one on April 8th is so epic! Not only is it a total solar eclipse, it has a really long amount of time that the sun will be covered by the moon when in the path of totality which is really awesome. I only have to travel about 15 mins to be in the main path of totality and will have darkness for over 4 minutes. The one in 2017, we only got a little over 2 mins and we were in the path of totality then too. So for me, since I am obsessed with all things celestial and astromony related, this is a very exciting event. I wish you could take the kids to witness this.... its going to be pretty epic!

To be in the band of totality for a solar eclipse and have it at the same spot on earth is the once in 100-400 year experience. But yes, you have probably been able to see a partial solar and lunar eclipse many times at your home in CA.

Yes! Toot your pitch memory horn! Regarding negative self-talk...sometimes I wonder who convinced you as a child that you have to know everything and be good at everything. Just because you don't know something or you are not an expert at that task doesn't mean that you are some of those words that you call yourself. What I love about you is that you are so curious! You realize when you don't know AND you want to find out! You know what you are good at and what others are good at, AND you will ask questions of those people. Your lovely active mind needs to be fed and you ask or Google to satisfy it! So many people either think that they know everything/can do everything. So many people lose their curiosity after childhood. I wish that you would celebrate that you have kept your self-awareness and curiosity❤

I don’t know if it’s something everyone can do, but I can do the pitch thing. I can also identify songs from the bass lines (like houses down the streets playing music etc) or identify songs within the first second or so

As a child therapist, I LOVE how you grab a character to play when you are with your adorable kids!! The only thing better than kids who know how to 'play' are kids who know how to 'play' that have parents that know how to 'play' along with them 😍🥰
