In this video I will be going through a really fun challenge of creating a game in scratch using only one sprite. Might sound impossible at first and that's where the power of clones come in. Using clones you can literally build anything inside of a sprite. So make sure to hang around to see what I make in today's video or technically a tutorial.

Gonna be honest I have never seen 1 sprite games to be impressive because it's the same thing as coding in an actual programming language with one file if not easier

To make a game like this just use clones or stamps in a custom block running without screen refresh. Good video anyway!

Have you ever seen a 4d game? Those are done in just one sprite. My favorite is migrane. It's a 4d platformer

I've made a game with one sprite once. What I did instead was that I had the main sprite change costume before creating each clone. Every piece of code begins with "If Costume Name =" The main sprite itself just stayed invisible and made the clones and the clones did everhtning that gets displayed on screen. My game was more of a collevt this object but avoid these objects sort of game so lacking the ID varibles didn't matter.
