I have been loving my journey with Chester Bennington and Linkin Park, but you all called it on this one. This cover song of Adele's by Chester is absolutely magnificent (have I mentioned that I adore Adele?) Chester truly gets to show off his wings in this one, and I'm absolutely here for it!

Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Linkin Park covering Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" for the first time.

  • The live version of Crawling from the One More Light Tour really shows emotion that Chester can pour out on stage and it's backed by a haunting piano background by Mike Shinoda. Definitely worth checking out.
  • @UMANGPLAYS
The fact that he did this after 1 hour of screaming and heavy songs and still nailed it...is beyond amazing
  • Chester to me is one of the best vocalist of his time. His singing is passionate but raw, intense yet painful.
  • @scyanhalcyan
something I absolutely believe that every Linkin Park fan can honestly say is that, what we love about them is just how absolutely RAW the emotion is, and looking back that is what brought a lot of us to them, we may not have know it at the time, but I can say with absolute sincerity that the pure and raw emotion that Chester puts into everything he did....it hit something primal and drew me to them.
  • @KaijuTango
YES! Can’t tell you how amazing it is to see you diving into more Linkin Park, more specifically Chester. Some performances you definitely need to check out are Faint live 2007 at Rock Am Ring and their song Qwery live 2006 in Tokyo Summer Sonic. Amazing displays of Chester’s talent.
  • "Little things gave you away" is one of the most underrated LP songs, I highly recommend it, especially the live version, as all Linkin Park songs should be listened like this
  • @kylelee3505
Chesters voice on Pushing Me Away (LIVE) at Milton Keynes haunts me. It is truly one of the best showcases of his voice. Trust me you will not be disappointed by reacting to their performance. They completely strip the song down & take it from a full on rock song & turn it into a beautiful ballad.
  • @Oakiiee
There is actually a longer version of this video, Chester starts singing in the wrong key and Mike stops and tells him and Chester instantly changes key to match the song and it's so crazy how he can change key so easily! Love the LP videos <3
  • @guru5890
If you want to check out more LinkinPark, I can only recommend the live versions of "One more Light" and "Crawling" as well as their song "the Messenger". Oh, and if you want to check out Mike Shinoda singing with Chester, "Iridescent" is probably a good choice.
  • @kenleppek
This is almost difficult to listen to. It's such a beautiful emotional song and to be coming from Chester it makes it that much more heartbreaking considering his situation. Another song that will hit you right in the feels listening to in hindsight is Chester and Chris Cornell performing Crawling live. I first heard that while they both were still alive and thought wow they do well together, today that song gets a complete different reaction from me.
  • @oonzpoonz69
I saw them 4 times before his passing. No celebrity passing hit me as hard, it felt like an arrow in my chest. This man helped an entire generation of troubled feeling teens come to deal with demons and move forward. His voice will forever live in my head of his powerful and just understanding of pain people needed. He did that for US and he was lost too soon and the world is missing one of the most powerful voices.
  • Since you're diving into Linkin Park, "One More Light" is something you should check out, the emotions Chester poured into that song can bring someone to tears
  • @jonnyrot10
You should really check out Linkin Park's Jimmy Kimmel, live performances of One More Light, that he dedicated to Chris Cornell. He's definitely putting his heart out, there is a section at the end that Chester can't sign a couple words through the tears.
  • @Bartjo32
Oh man, one of my favourite covers! You're gonna love this one 😄 Really hope you'll cover Waiting for the End by Linkin Park as well, amazingly diverse and emotional song.
  • As someone who deals with crippling depression I still can't believe Chester ended his own life. The man transmuted his pain and that showed in his musical career. Whatever shame Chester held onto I'd forgive him. The man's a hero for so many of us.
  • @mattm7128
I said it before and I'll say it again. Chester was the friend we all wish we knew but had through his music. The kind of friend that recognised the struggles we were going through and would have done anything to help because he could relate. If he was missing a lung or his vocal cords he would still have got up and given the best and most sincere performance because that what he done and how he knew to reach people.
  • @Andre-fj4xx
Actually, Adele does that a lot. In the most emotional moments of her songs she likes to be every so slightly off the pitch, and we all know that she can do it. The result is, at least in my mind, that it helps to make the listener understand the struggle. The pain is so much to bear. And that makes it so much easier to feel the music.
  • @danski2260
It was so emotional. Like he wasn't singing it for the audience, that was purely for him and for whatever healing he needed in that moment. Man, still brings me to tears thinking about him being gone. I am watching this at work and crying. Good thing the people I work with know I am an extremely emotional being and they are used to it.
  • @Lylifly
There's something really moving for me about an entire crowd singing with any artist. It makes me super emotional.
  • @SBeni1214
I’m so happy you did this. Unmatched voice. RIP Chester
