LINKIN PARK did the cover at the request of iTunes. They asked if they could play the song and they graciously agreed.

His death just two months after Chris Cornell's was such a blow, two of the most talented rock vocalists both taking their own lives one after another felt like the end of an era...they were also close friends and Chester had performed "Hallelujah" at Chris's funeral.

One of the rare occasions where the cover is better than the original(and I absolutely love the original). Chester was something else.

There is a video of this that's a little bit longer, starting a bit before this one starts. Chester starts singing, Mike stops him , and calls him over to tell him something. From what I've heard, Chester started in the wrong key. Quick fix, and an amazing performance.
