arian is one of those kids who gets to say when he’s older “ya, i used to go to school in the freezing cold, had to climb mountains and stuff”
  • @natsuminofan
Very enlightening ending line: "After all, there is no such thing as bad weather; there is just weather and your attitude towards it."

During school I never really paid attention. Especially in history. Now that I"m 51 I so wrapped up watching documentaries like this & learning how others live across the world. It warms my heart to see how well behaved & adjusted these kids are & how hard they work to help their parents.

Суровый якутский мальчик - почистил зубы и умылся ледяной водой и не кашлянул 😂😂😂Счастья тебе, малыш ❤

I love how that kid is like nearly freezing to death on his way to school, and a dog just trots by completely fine. Not even a husky, just a random collie dog.

MASSIVE respect to the people of Yakutia. These are folk who really do understand the value of home, family, food, education and society.

The little boy's accuracy and focus over cutting woods is astonishing. Also hez candid to tell his mom she messed up the fish.. truest and warmest of emotions ❤❤❤❤

As an African who has never experienced winter, I can't even begin to fathom how cold -40°C is...!!!!

There is so much gentleness, goodness and love in that father's eyes. The kids of the village look so balanced and grounded. What a remarkable place.
  • 10/10 for the camera crew as well, who are not used at all to this weather and recorded this masterpiece

Living in the tropical region, I dread cold weather. But these videos, bring so much warmth, the warmth of the community, families in the coldest place on earth … thank you Kiun for sharing such heart-warming clips of life with us

You can't be lazy in this town, or you'll literally die. They are such hardworking people.
  • @famousamos
I legit couldn't do it. I respect this family that much more knowing this is their way of life.
  • Apple and egg for breakfast! No added sugar or artificial stuff! I wish all schools are like this!
  • Very resilient community. Kudos to the kid, he does a lot around the house to help his parents.
  • Watching Arian go to school in -55 weather and then help his parents around the house, I feel ashamed of how much we take things for granted. Such a beautiful and responsible child. So glad to have watched this video. It certainly gave me perspective.
  • @ibrahimhaque1161
This video really shows us how much we take for granted, and how we ought to be more thankful for the blessings that we have, such as warm water in cold weather, or easy means of transport. Be thankful everyone!

Arian literally gave the hardest reality check! Way to go for that kid 😇
