This reminds me of so many other things. Skater, MTI, DCB, HOWARD, NORDIC Spectre, etc.. Everyone has to have a deck boat, which they have to sell to get a true cat with big Teague or Pfaff motors, and now everyone is going to have to sell them to get the OUTBOARD version of the cat or deck boat to keep up, and it never ends. So you will be spending 60k to 100k a piece for outboards, and people in Florida will have 4 or 5 of them on each boat (you saw that one at the beginning of this, they were probably from Florida!, and people at Havasu will have at least 2 of them on each boat!. I already see the used cat's with inboards for sale, and even some of the "older" dual outboards for sale so that people can upgrade to the new ones!! After all, who wants a 350 or 400 supercharged 6cyl Verado, when you can have a NEW 10 cyl normally aspirated!! I remember 25 years ago or more when I had a new Baja 280 center console with Dual Yamaha outboards...I was turning heads with THAT at Havasu.
