  • One thing I noticed is that docking into space stations, freighters, and the space anomaly is much smoother, I’m not thrown back when docking at a high speed anymore it’s just a much smoother animation

I love how now the hostile flora doesn´t attack you frem like 5 meters away lol
  • @Malember
Deep in the patch notes is that Living Ships can have a Saline Carapace installed to allow them to land on water too. I wish more people knew about this!
  • I noticed that the hostile flora has become much larger in size, but there are also small, standard-sized ones

I'm very glad my perfect home planet was untouched with the update, I was expecting to load in and it had turned into a nuclear apocalypse but no! Only change I can find is that the sky is pink now lol
  • I think that the water landings are overlooked too. You get waves, clouds, and an expedition, but I forgot that it had water landings now. If course if I ever had a major underwater base I would remember though. I just thought it was hilarious I got excited about beetle diversity... I was excited about everything in the update though, it was really fun to try.

This is the biggest redemption arc for any video game ever. It has gone far beyond the lofty promises they made before its release.
  • I have no idea if it's new new, but I did have an experience on an Extreme Weather planet that I've never seen before: I noticed, despite the extreme weather, there were no storm crystals in the planet, but whatever, I continued on with my day exploring. A storm started rolling in and the usual lighting at the edge of the horizon flashed and I thought to myself "wouldn't it be neat if lightning actually struck nearby instead of out at the edges?" And I kid you not a minute or two later it did. A lot of it. There were circles on the ground warning where it would strike, and some of the bolts spawned Storm Crystals that tumbled loosely down the hill I was on

One of the first things I did with my Paradise world with rideable, tame able butterflies was to rename it it "Mothra"

Im hoping some more stuff from your variety vid makes it into part two! Lava oceans, frozen over oceans. PLS SEAN
  • New scary worlds with aliens like from the original Pitch black movie with Vin Diesel would be so cool.
  • @Pepagg8
Another note worthy change that everything on ice planets is now froyen over

I wish I found this giant bug on some random planet who everybody kills for resources but if you go to it 50 times ,hang with it for 2 hours, you discover its intelligent and is trying to communicate with you....I have a million other ideas like this that nobody implements in their games.
  • @AlphaMooger39
seen two floating island lush planets with freezing, hazard protection-enabling nights and firestorms instead of superheated rain, functionally acting like barren worlds. Several people have appeared to notice this too and I think this might be intentional.
  • I noticed a snowstorm was more impactful visually (camera shake) and at the audio level - not sure if they did that before, but I got hit by a lightning bolt that did a bit of damage as well.
  • @TheXaon
Yessss I was hoping for a vid like this. You always deliver, Kanaju! 🚀
  • Only seen the water and clouds so far, but as someone playing a sentinal themed autophage with a drone/ship/spliced minotaur-- I was ecstatic to find a desert planet filled with blue robot towers/orbs/horses and instantly made it my alpha home base. It's too bad the system is desolate besides a couple planets abd moons with high sentinal security.
