in terms of marathon, t spin triples are good because they send a lot of lines. Before each level up, if u send a triple when there is like 1 line left before the next level, you still get the full points for the triple, even though u went over the max "lines cleared" for that level. you repeat each level until marathon is done for max points. this set up in this vid isn't as good as st stacking. it's just for show.

the importance of the t spin double and t spin triple is more apparent when playing actual tetris, where the trash sent manifests itself as garbage lines that can be cleared. not bombs.

Kinda, but it's much faster just to do it normal and you get combo points as well. As well as it's harder to "knock" you out by sending lines. So I don't feel like it's worth it.

its just good in battle tetris, cause its the best combo to get a knockout on the opponent.

Well, in the way he's preparing it it's not all that efficient in a battle, I do agree with that. but there are better ways to set this up so you'd get nothing but tetrises and t-spins for example. Another thing to keep in mind is that it's a move to know how to perform since it's worth a lot, could get you out of sticky situations and maintains your back to back combo. So i suggest just knowing how to do it so you could implement it into your every day tetris.

@tfmMspringles what are you talking about you don't need next piece queue to do t spin triples when doing t spin doable you really need next piece queue!
