The sequence where he accidentally starts a religion and within a couple of minutes it has split into about half a dozen factions is a beautiful bit of social commentary.

I played "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" at my wife's wake. There were several who thought it was in bad taste but she would have loved it. Nice touch at the end of your video.

One fun tidbit is the Roman soldier who made Brian conjugate Latin verba and write the sentence over and over was played by John Cleese, who had previously been a teacher of Latin (O believe prior to entering law school). One thing to remember is that these were highly educated people, having met at Cambridge and joining a famed comedy troupe at the college. For Instance, the actor who portrayed Brian (and King Arthur) was a medical doctor.

When it comes to Monty Python, it seems there are two kinds of react-ers - 1) those who want their films to make sense and who are therefore either mystified, at the very least, or downright frustrated, and 2) those who think these films funny as hell. I always thought this was a better movie than the Holy Grail for actually having a story line. I loved both of them for the Python silliness and quotable quotes. Good reaction, as always.

I've seen this many times over the years, but seeing you laugh through the movie had me laughing too. Python's Meaning of Life is worth watching too.
