Following the trail of gold from the rivers into the creeks for the big gold!!

Published 2024-08-02
It's winter here in Tasmania and my gold prospecting gets much trickier to execute, with shorter days, sopping wet rainforests and swollen river and creeks. So in today's video we shoot back in time to the summer months where the conditions were much better not only for prospecting but for filming with more light through the lenses.
I'll be joining up with my mate Rob Parsons on an overnight adventure to search for new gold deposits. We'll be pack rafting a new stretch of river and exploring a feeder creek for those good gold deposits.

  • My two favorite Tassie gold prospecting Ol' Blokes on YouTube, Levi and Rob, the two best gold prospecting channels on YouTube. ❤
  • Those were the days! Sore muscles, Rob by the fire and nuggets in the snuffer. Still living my life trough you!❤️
  • Good to see two blokes using Queens Anne Rule for kayak filling and no fisticuffs! Love both of your channels! Greatest gold on YouTube.
  • Your causing me a dilemma 😁what use to be my Sunday morning viewing with a cup of tea has become late night Friday viewing 😅great video and gold as always ✨✨

  • It’s a great day when Levi gives us a new video to enjoy! It’s 104 degrees here today, with fires all up and down the state, so getting some eye candy that looks soooo cool and not scorching, is wonderful!

Awsome trip mate I’ve often wondered about how fast rocks erode and decimate the gold and we’ve seen the rivers slightly change year to year ,time vs weather events and rock types all play apart mate the things we ponder aye hope ya well mate cheers

  • Thanks for the trip, nice to hear you chew the fat over geology and erosion of the gold deposits. Look forward to the next fix 👍
  • Another Incredible video with you and Rob Parsons! Love it when you guys team up and find nuggets! I talk often with Luke from where’s winks, he might even swing by my neck of the woods in Oregon. You are my favorite Gold YouTuber and the main reason I got into sniping Levi, Thanks man! • All rocks have different MOH scale hardness, depending on what has happened to them ie; volcanic activity, glacier, water, heat, meteor. The base basalt will generally take on a similar hardness because of what minerals it is comprised of and how it was made.
